Why a freelance consultant?
You have to be highly organised, motivated and passionate to work on a freelance basis and luckily I am those things. I love the excitement and challenges of working with different people and companies and learn from all the difference experiences making me better at what I do.
Why choose me?
I have years of communications, public relations and marketing experience working with different charities, educational establishments and other organisations. In recent years, I have worked as the Head of Communications for the UK’s largest primary academy trust and as the Head of Press and Social Media for a national education charity. You can see my LinkedIn profile, here.
As well as having a wealth of communications experience, I’m also good at listening to people and what they need. I have spent years working in the not-for-profit sector and have great experience of having to be creative with limited budgets.
I have a bachelor’s degree in English with Media and Film and a Diploma in Social Media Marketing. I’m a CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) and CharityComms member and am committed to CPD (continuous professional development). I make sure I’m up-to-date on the latest knowledge and trends. Communications is not a one-off lesson. It’s a lifetime of learning.
During your consultation I will ask you about your end goals and what success looks like and will help you decide what services you need.
