About Arctic Comms

Arctic Comms is a Sussex-based marketing and public relations consultancy specialising in tailored support for schools, educational establishments, charities and purpose-driven businesses.

I’m Amy Hanson-Reed, a communications consultant with over 18 years’ experience. I’ve worked with leading UK charities and spent more than a decade in senior communications and marketing roles within the education sector. I hold a degree in English and Media, a diploma in Social Media Marketing, and I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and CharityComms.

I believe communications should never be one-size-fits-all. I take the time to understand your organisation, your challenges and your goals, and then design a bespoke package that works for you.

Too often, communications is undervalued or pushed aside for what seem like more urgent priorities. But effective PR and marketing is not a luxury — it’s essential for building reputation, reaching audiences and achieving impact. Having worked for many not-for-profit organisations, I also understand the realities of limited budgets. That’s why I take a streamlined, no-frills approach, offering only the services I believe will add genuine value.
